Does ChatUp sell my data?

ChatUp doesn’t rent or sell your personal data for money. Some state privacy laws count certain disclosures for targeted advertising as a “sale” or “sharing”. On the website you can opt out of those under Advertising preferences or by turning on Global Privacy Control in your browser.

To answer you, your messages and files are sent to the provider of the model you choose. When Memory is on, each finished chat turn and your saved facts may also be sent to DeepSeek to pick out facts to remember, even when another provider answered. AI Research sends your query to AI and search providers. The Privacy Policy explains what is shared and why.
